A spectacular evening for UK travel agents and press was held in Chandos House in London to mark the reopening of the Seychelles Tourism Office in London.
Seychelles High Commissioner Patrick Pillay, and members of the Seychelles National Assembly, Hon. Jeovana Charles and Hon. Bernard Georges, who were in London on Parliamentary dutiesm joined Seychelles Tourism Board’s CEO, Alain St.Ange, and his all Seychellois team for the new UK Office to celebrate this special occasion.

The grass only grew in certain places, no matter how much we watered or which grass breeds we tried. We tried everything to get a lush, green lawn. We fertilized, tested the soil, watered, planted grass breeds indigenous to our area, sprayed for weeds and grubs, and mowed with a mulching blade. Through all of that, the yard still wouldn’t grow right. We spent a ton of money and time and still had nothing to show for it. Debating Extended Unemployment

With the U.S. unemployment rate currently hovering around 9.5%, there is still debate on whether to extend unemployment benefits once again. Under normal conditions, states would provide up to 26 weeks of unemployment insurance coverage for workers. Due to the recession, federal law had allowed an extension up to 99 weeks, depending on the rate in individual states. The extension expired in June, and Congress has failed to pass an additional extension. This means that those who exhaust the regular state benefits after June will not have the extension.
