How to go about making a ppi reclaim

Recently, we stumbled across a companies website where they act on PPI claims for people in the UK who have acquired credit cards and loans in the last couple of years. PPI is payment protection insurance; a form of insurance that will protect the policy holder in the event that they cannot work for health reasons or redundancy and therefore cannot meet their monthly repayments.

This type of insurance sounds good on the surface, but there are many problems that have been highlighted recently, the main one being the huge amount of people who have been mis sold a PPI policy. This usually happens when a person is sold a policy that doesn’t have any benefit to them whatsoever. Unfortunately, this happens to millions of people every year.

If you have taken out a payment protection insurance policy within the last couple of years then taking a closer look at the terms and conditions of your policy could prove to be very beneficial. Many people are not made aware of the fact that they are actually paying for a PPI policy, and there are also many cases where the terms and conditions of their policy are not made clear enough. If either of these things sound like something that has happened to you then you could have a case for compensation. If you wanted to proceed with a claim then one of the things that you could do is contact a claims company who will follow the claim through on your behalf.
